Using Exercise as a natural chronic pain relief.
An important disclaimer: this article is written assuming that, if you’re experiencing chronic pain, you’re already working with a healthcare professional to manage it (and if not, you need to be!) Check any suggestions you want to try with that professional, and follow their recommendations. Also, if an activity increases your pain levels, don’t do it. It’s OK to have muscles that are tired and slightly sore the day after. It’s not OK to experience any joint pain or sharp, stabbing pain during or after exercise, or anything that makes your chronic pain worse. If you experience any of these, seek advice from your healthcare professional as soon as possible.
That said, the most beneficial kind of exercise depends very much on the individual. One of Optimum Life’s key principles is that activity will always do more good if it’s something you enjoy. This is even more important when you experience chronic pain, when something you start dreading or tensing up about can quickly make your condition worse.

“Cold Turkey” is possibly the most well known natural way of quitting smoking. The procedure is quite straightforward since it involves quitting without any aid or help from other products. If you have a strong will power, cold turkey can be a good way to naturally stop the addiction.
Unfortunately, this method may be the toughest since there’s no gradual reduction in smoking, just an abrupt cessation of smoking. Smokers are challenged to resist without any help from drugs or psychological means. By doing so, there are ways to avert your cravings and withdrawal effects. Drinking plenty of water helps your body to release some harmful smoking remnants. In the first few days the withdrawals are the worst primarily due to toxins remaining in the system. It’s best to use every method available to combat the harsh effects of the first few days.

This typically happens when high fluid pressure in an eye rises too high. Those with a family history of glaucoma, and those over 60-years-old, are high-risk groups. If you are in either of those groups, you should get eye exams once every two years or more often. Treatments for glaucoma include eyedrops requiring a prescription, and surgery.
