You may not think that a lilac bush needs pruning like a rose bush would, but this can help you out if you want a better looking bush. You may already do this if you pluck blooms to take into your home, but if not, you have to think about cutting it down a bit. Some bushes can grow upwards of twenty feet or higher, but that won’t happen without proper pruning. You will also find that taking your pruning shears to the lilac bush will help it maintain a nice shape. Without it, it might grow awkwardly.
If you don’t have a lilac bush on your property, you can always find some starters. Be sure to find out how deep to plant them. You should know that these bushes of lilacs require a good amount of sun to grow into a healthy plant, and they do not do well with weeds.

If you’re hosting a bridal shower, you probably know the bride well. What rocks her world? Is she an extrovert? What’s her favorite music? Try a Karaoke style entertainment theme. Let it all hang out. Everyone will join in. If she’s the introverted and shy type, don’t embarrass her with activities like this. Scale your entertainment to suit your guest of honor. For example, if she’s the poetic type, have your guests present her with gifts of hand written romantic poems and a nice leather journal to keep them.
Hosting a bridal shower takes imagination, at least if it’s to stand out in her memories. As for gifts, try to think outside the box. She’ll probably receive more toasters and blankets than she can use.

Lot of people make the mistake of starting astronomy for beginners with too serious an approach. They want to learn about the physics of stars, the motion of planets, relativity, and all that jazz. These are all fascinating topics, but the first thing you should do when beginning astronomy is to get a telescope and look at the sky. This isn’t just a fun way to introduce yourself to the topic – it makes sense educationally as well. If you go into astronomy as a purely intellectual pursuit, you will make some gains, but if you go into it with a passion that comes from contemplating the heavens, you will truly have the motivation to succeed. Look at the glorious stars all around you!
