Types of Credit Card Rewards
We all know that there are rewards associated with credit cards, but not all of us know all the types of rewards. Some of the credit cards rewards are Cash Back Rewards, Earning Air Miles, Earning points etc.
Cash Back Rewards are rewards where the customers get a cash rebate, which is generally some % of the amount spent. Earning air miles is where some credit cards allow the customers to earn air miles on their card. This is also linked to the money spent e.g. it could be a number of points for every pound spent and these points could be used for travel rebates. One of the other credit cards rewards is the points system where each pound equals to certain points and these points could be further redeemed for shopping or vouchers etc.
The credit card rewards could thus be one of the deciding factors while choosing a credit card now. Do remember that air miles would be useful only if you are a frequent traveler whereas cash back offers as well as points can help you get discounts and vouchers which can be used in a wide range of stores and thus would be more beneficial.
