The Importance Of Water In Skin Care
Water is an essential part of keeping ourselves
health on the inside and outside.. Not only
does it quench our thirst, but also it
replenishes much needed liquids to muscles and
other tissues. The skin is no exception.
Drinking plenty of water is an absolute
necessity for radiant looking skin.
The amount of water your body needs each day is dependent on its own needs. Doctors recommend a minimum of at least 8 glasses a day, but if you’re a somewhat active person, you may find that more water is needed. Other than hydrating your body, water cleanses your body of toxins, making you feel and look better. Acne is a result of sebum production, which can become trapped with dirt, leading to ugly pimples. Drinking plenty of water can cleanse your pores from the inside, while washing your face twice daily (with water, of course) works to remove oil and dirt from the surface of the skin.
Many healthcare professionals agree that water is also important to any weight loss regimen. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables will supply your body with the correct nutrients to power any workout session. Drinking water will not only keep you hydrated during that exercise routine, it also can eliminate food cravings which could derail your weight loss progress. Keeping your stomach full of water can ward off hunger, making it easier to consume less. As soon as you can turn your body into a fat burning machine, the faster you’ll notice results in your figure. With all the beverage options available today, it is easy to overlook the simplicity of water. But, regardless of its taste, those sugary sodas and caffeine powered drinks do nothing to help your skin care or mood. When you find yourself feeling sluggish and scattered, investigate your water intake, and you may find the reason for your mood.

An antique coffee pot can make a wonderful gift for a person who appreciates nostalgic items for the kitchen. Many people overlook this type of gift even when buying for a person who collects vintage items. The nice thing about this vintage gift is that it is relatively easy to find and it is relatively inexpensive. Nevertheless, it will be well-received.
I discovered the appeal of such a gift purely by accident. I found an antique coffee pot in the basement of our home. The house is quite old and the previous owner left a lot of miscellaneous items behind when she moved away. Among the items was an antique coffee pot that turned out to be an object of desire for one of my relatives.
My aunt collects antiques and while I knew that she loved items like dry sinks, wash basins and coffee grinders, I had no idea that she would like the antique coffee pot so much. In fact, I almost threw the thing away. I didn’t even know what it was, exactly.
Of course I have seen many carafes for coffee over the years but none looked like this one. The antique coffee pot was not constructed out of glass. I thought that it was made out of stainless steel or some such metal. There was a handle sticking out of the side of the carafe that made the whole thing look a little funny to me.
Instead of tossing the item away, I chose to show it to my aunt. She is well-informed about vintage items and even though I didn’t think that the antique coffee pot was of any real value, I still sought her advice. I am very glad that I did because I could have thrown out a relatively valuable collectable.
What was gathering dust in the basement of my home was a silver antique coffee pot designed in Victorian style. My aunt pointed out that the items had London hallmarks dating the object to the year 1899. The antique coffee pot was marketed by the Goldsmiths Company of London.
I was impressed that my aunt even knew what it was because this antique coffee pot stands a little more than 6” high. The straight handle and silver construction is also a bit confusing. I found that my aunt was so pleased with the find that it made a wonderful gift for her. The antique coffee pot was the perfect way to thank her for helping us sort the junk from the valuables in our home.
